Dave and Margaret Peryman were both brought up in Auckland and have lived on the Hibiscus Coast for the past 5 years. Their own house is in front of the Lodge so help is never far away but your privacy is maintained at all times.
Being local they can give you information on local attractions and sightseeing and, as self confessed foodies, can recommend local restaurants and cafes guaranteed to satisfy any craving.
We have taken our time to carefully fit out the Lodge so that your every need is catered for. Here is a list of our amenities and we would encourage you to make an enquiry should you need something special.

The Hibiscus Coast boasts some of the best swimming and recreation beaches in Auckland with two beaches and an estuary within easy walking distance from the Lodge.
With the coastal lifestyle comes cafes and alfresco dining in Orewa (again walking distance) along with unparalleled access to activities such as surfing, kayaking, bicycling, walking or just sunbathing on the beach.
You'll find the local community of proud 'Coasties' to be warm and friendly.
The Lodge is less than 5 minutes drive from a Mall, a Shopping Centre and two supermarkets so your shopping is sorted without needing to go far at all.
Walk or drive down to the lovely seaside township of Orewa and you'll find dozens of dining options with an abundance of alfresco cafes and top quality restaurants.
All of your usual takeout and fast food style eateries are local and supported by Uber eats if you need it.

Kite boarding anyone? Or how about Kayaking in the estuary? Or perhaps a bit of stand up paddle boarding - or if you prefer to stay land locked, rent an eBike or a Bicycle and enjoy the scenery and the safe bike track around the local estuary.
The two local beaches (Orewa and Red Beach) are both excellent swimming beaches and surf beaches and are fully patrolled by lifeguards (during summer months).
